Making Time For Blogging.

Do I love blogging?

The answer is a resounding YES!

But I'm sure I'm not alone on this when I say sometimes it can be a challenge. Finding the time, coming up with interesting posts, and keeping up with all of the ones you follow can be difficult to say the least! Not that it matters, blogging (for me) is all about relaxing, having fun, and doing it in my spare time. The thing is .. I don't have a lot of spare time! Do you?

Here's what my daily schedule looks like:

6am - Wake Up

6:50am - Board the train for work

7:30am - Get downtown and start work

12pm - Lunch and homework

1pm - back to work

Throughout the day I work on school .. can be challenging if we're busy at work, cause that always has to come first ...

5pm - Board train for home

6pm - Take nap ( I NEED a lot of sleep)

7pm - Gym Time

9pm -More homework.

11pm - SLEEP

My weekdays are pretty much ALWAYS the same. It's hard to find time for putting posts together.

My weekends I work my second job, work on school assignments, visit the family and CLEAN. Ahhh, you know it's bad when you look forward to CLEANING for a break. ... (but I've always loved cleaning). If I go out on the weekends, I'm pretty much a ZOMBIE for the following two days ..

Anywhooo ...

I can't even imagine what it is like for those of you with KIDDIES running around, trying to do all this and then some. My question is, how on earth do you make time for our # 1 hobby?

How was your weekend?

..I had a nice, relaxing few days spent sleeping, cleaning, reading, and doing a little bit of shopping!!

Me and my fiancee drove up to a new mall on the outskirts of the city (Calgary). It's really big and they aren't even done building it yet.

I felt like doing an outfit of the day:

I'm not going to list the clothes in minute detail, because they are honestly just random pieces I dug out of my closet and threw together ... there's $20 Moto skinny jeans from Winners, a longer tulipy tank from Costa Blanca a couple years ago, a black silk shoulder shrug from Lattitude, and some comfy ballet flats from Wal-mart, lol. That's what's so funny about my closet; you would probably laugh your ass off if you saw it. I have 1,500 dollar purses next to Wal-Mart/Payless shoes. But fashion in my eyes isn't about the price, it's about the way it looks on you!

Anywhoo ...

Here are the random purchases I made this week that brought joy to my heart:I'm loving this read so far. It's guilty, easy chick-lit at it's finest! Perfect for a bubble bath with a glass of wine =) I think it's perfect accompaniment would be the beach though - can't wait to get the sequel for my trip to the Caribbean next month!

Got this costume style bracelet at Aldo accessories. I like the white with gold charms.

Also got these imitation pearl and gold hoops. They'll be nice and romantic to pair with a dainty shirt.

Some comfy lounging clothes from Forever XXI ..We only recently got this store in my city .. I'm still blown away by how cheap it is! T-shirt was $10 and grey hoodie thing $20 ... not bad for lazy days at home!Had to stop in at LUSH of course =) I got the Sex Bomb bath bomb .. it just smelled way too good! It kinda sucks that it's a one time use for $6 .. but oh well! Sometimes you just have to splurge on yourself, right?I LOVE the smell of this Karma Kream ... best ever! I saw it in my sister's medicine cabinet last week and specifically went on a hunt for it .. And last but not least, these Nicole by OPI nail polish sticks. I painted my nails last night and I love them! Polish went on seamlessly and I love the purpley/pink shade - "Text Me" it's called. Wanted to upload some pics of the finished look, but my camera died :( ..

100 Followers!

A giant Thank-You to each of my followers for helping me reach 100!

I know this number pales in comparison to some of you fabulously popular bloggers out there, but this is a huge achievment for me! I started this blog about 7 months ago, and while the road so far has been a bit sporadic (month long breaks between posts at times), I'm hugely thankful for the people who were patient and kept reading, even after I went AWOL!

I Want A Vanity

Beautiful Vanity..

I want a romantic antique vanity with a little pink suede, heart shaped seat. My pastel bottled perfume collection adorns it's top with a delicate spritzer skyline; Crystal handled drawers hold my most precious of makeup and beauty potions. Soft piano music caresses my ears as I sit before my reflection and make myself beautiful.

Thought I would do an After-Valentines-Day entry showing off the goodies I got!

My man took me shopping at Sephora and basically let me pick out anything I wanted! Sorry the pics aren't the best quality ... Apart from some brush cleaner and mini Sephora make-up kit, I got:

1. Kim Kardashian's perfume!
2. Dior Shadow pallete 970 that I'd been eyeing for awhile! I got the purple one.

3.Benefit Erase Paste Concealer .. so far I'm liking it ..

I also got the Vicorias Secret Noir lotion and body spray in a cute make-up bag for half off .. I pretty much just got it for the make-up bag =P. It's kinda hard to see in my first pic, so here's a better one..

AND ..

I got this amazing make-up pallete from Claires for .... $4!!

Dinner

We had lobster!
Ryan cooked me an amazing dinner of lobster, fetuccine alfredo and grilled asparagus! Best dinner I've had in a long time!
