Why did you start makeup blogging?

I got inspired by reading other girls blogs and thought "Hey, I could do that!"

What is your best kept beauty secret ?

Lots of beauty sleep, a sound skincare routine that suits your specific needs, lots of water, and regular excercise. There's four for you! Airbrushing and flattering angles never hurt anyone either ;)

What do you love about yourself?

My sense of humour! It's very weird and off the wall, and very few people share the same kind.

What is funniest thing you ever had happen or seen happen?

Hmmm, this is hard. I've seen so many. My finance cracks me up unintentionally all the time with certain things he/says does. It's why I love him =) My cats crack me up all the time with their weird animal behaviour. But I can't think of a particular instant.

What is Your Fave scent?

Fresh laundry, lysol lemon wipes, and, uh-oh (sharpies)

What do you find most annoying?

People with no integrity, pride, dignity, or respect.

What are your holy grail makeup products?

MAC Studio Fix Foundation, DIORSHOW Extase Mascara, Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick

What would you do for a klondike bar?

Hmm, you know what? I've never had one ... so I don't know what I would do =)

Well I'm sure I've already answered all the questions out there to be asked, so I decided to pull some random facts out to shock y'all a lil.

1. I love DAVID BOWIE

Like SO MUCH. I pretty much grew up with his music, or to a lesser extent, the "Labyrinth" soundtrack. It was my absolute favorite movie, and I have the special addition DVD today! I also love all of his 70s, 80s, and 90s music. I saw him live in 2003 and it was awesome! My fave songs by him are "Space Oddity", "Rebel, Rebel", "Just Dance" "I'm Afraid of Americans".

2.I have two cats

Left is Tibbs, 9 months, and right is BB, 5 years.

They're both rescue kitties; Tibbs I got from the Meow Foundation, and BB I took from an elderly lady who was moving into a home and couldn't have any animals there. They sleep at the foot of my bed every night.

3.Lily Cole is my fave fashion model

Because she is the most doll-like girl I've ever seen! She seriously is a doll incarnate

I honestly don't know what else to state about myself, I'm definitely at a loss for words. But if you would like to know anything about me, just ask =)

My sedan used to be decked out in everything Hello Kitty - HK floor mats, seat belt covers, dashboard bobbles lol .. yeah, I went a bit overboard. But I've always loved Jap culture and my dream vacay would be TOKYO, baby! I just find the Japanese so mysterious, probably because it's one of the furthest types of culture from our own. Mmm, sushi every day, sake, high rise penthouses; yep, it's my kinda place. Now I just need to make those millions...

1.I'm the only one in my entire family who is 100% Canadian. My sister, parents, and entire extended family are born and bred British. My parents immigrated to Canada 3 years before I was born.

2.I love being casual and comfy, and live in my uggs on weekends. (In the winter at least)

3.I like doing crafts in my spare time

4.I just turned 25

5.I just adopted a grey, white, and black tabby kitten =)

6.I love buying and reading all kinds of books

7.I love romance and am 100% in love with my fiance!!

Sorry I haven't updated in so long .. I hate when I get so caught up in other things that blogging gets pushed to the wayside. Ever notice the longer you go without blogging, the easier it is to NEVER update?? The fact I've been insanely busy hasn't helped either. I've got my full time job, my part time job, school, and a new kitten ..... blah blah blah, everyone gets busy, but I'm really feeling it now ...

In Other News ...

I had a great weekend! Me and all of my ladies went on a road trip to Banff.

It was so nice to get away! BUT I was super tired when I got back on Sunday, and spent most of the day sleeping!

Today I've just been catching up on my book, and I only have two chapters of Twilight left! I had to read it, just to see what all the commotion was about. I already have New Moon also .. my fiancee baught me it in hard cover! Overall I am really enjoying Twilight. I honestly wouldn't say that the saga warrents this world wide phenomenon, BUT then again, I'm only on the first volume, and I've heard it gets better! There is definitely something comforting about the story. Reading it seems to soothe me somehow....

In Other News ..

I saw New Moon on Saturday!! I know, I'm a little late with this compared to the "die-hard twi-hards" (wow, that totally rhymed) but I still thought I would share my thoughts....
Overall?? .. Good. Not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination (other than Jacob's body and unbelievabley perfect smile), but enjoyable non the less.
On the way to the movie I caved and ended up buying Twilight (first book of the series) at Chapters. Part of me wondered what I was doing, suddenly deciding to give the very book series I'd spent hours criticizing a sudden try... My verdict so far? Awesome! I actually have a hard time putting it down. I guess sometimes it pays to jump on the bandwagon!

I'm hoping to get Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse done in time for the next movie installment. I have a year ... think I'll do it? =P
