Sorry for lack of posts in the last couple days. I have a lot of outfit posts on my camera that I haven't gotten around to putting up yet - but there are lots coming!
So tired today .. And happy it's the weekend!

What do you like most about weekends?

My faves are:

*sleeping in

*getting Timmies every Sat & Sun morning

*Meeting my family for dinner/drinks every Sat. night

*catching up on tv shows missed throughout the week

*catching up on blogs

*eating gooooood food.

*having late night baths with candles, wine and books

*being lulled to sleep on the couch from the music of Ryan's Dragon Age video game

*Playing dj hero

*Watching movies

*Cuddling with my cats

*Getting a good long workout at the gym

*SHOPPING !!!!!

This past weekend my super good friend Andies invited me to Auburn Bay Lake (where she lives) for some fun in the sun.

I recently got some summery polishes from Revlon. I love them! They go on great; not as good as Essie of course, but still good. They are fast drying as well and within five minutes of applying, my nails are completely dry. They are a bit faster at chipping, but that's because I didn't use a base or top coat. I imagine a base and top coat to take away from the fast drying, and the drying time was my main point when buying these.

Here is Jaded on my nails - a super pretty pastel turqouise. I can't wait to get some more of the Revlon colors.

MAC Digi-Pops Collection - WIN-WIN

Bonjour Poupées!

I noticed MAC's Digi-Pops LE collection a few weeks ago when I was at the counter. It wasn't available for another few weeks, but I promised myself I would return for the lightest pink shade - Win-Win

Sorry for the poor quality pics, but hopefully you can get an idea of what it looks like.

It's a super pink and sparkley sheer color with crystaly pieces in it. I love it!

They have lots of other shades too.

I also had to get a back up for my Lady Gaga. It's my favorite pink color ever, and as you can see from below, I've almost used up my first tube completely.

I'll need to get a stock pile of them before they stop making it in a few more months.

Why did you start makeup blogging?

I got inspired by reading other girls blogs and thought "Hey, I could do that!"

What is your best kept beauty secret ?

Lots of beauty sleep, a sound skincare routine that suits your specific needs, lots of water, and regular excercise. There's four for you! Airbrushing and flattering angles never hurt anyone either ;)

What do you love about yourself?

My sense of humour! It's very weird and off the wall, and very few people share the same kind.

What is funniest thing you ever had happen or seen happen?

Hmmm, this is hard. I've seen so many. My finance cracks me up unintentionally all the time with certain things he/says does. It's why I love him =) My cats crack me up all the time with their weird animal behaviour. But I can't think of a particular instant.

What is Your Fave scent?

Fresh laundry, lysol lemon wipes, and, uh-oh (sharpies)

What do you find most annoying?

People with no integrity, pride, dignity, or respect.

What are your holy grail makeup products?

Hmm, you know what? I've never had one ... so I don't know what I would do =)

I'm not as huge a fan of doing work outfit posts, because I feel I can't let quite as many of my colors shine with that darn "business casual" rule. But yesterday was nice and sunny, and I wanted to catch this summery frock in time.

Small Update

New Bangs!

I was getting really bored with my hair, hence my hairstyle post from a couple weeks ago. Well yesterday I decided to take matters into my own hands and give myself bangs! I was so eager to get them short that I just took a giant chunk and started cutting .. then my heart started beating really fast as I looked in the mirror - they were so thick and jaggedly crooked. I spend the next half an hour thinning them out though and ended up being fairly happy with the finished result.

It will take me some time to get used to them, but at least they'll already be a bit longer in a few weeks. After that I went to stampede, so threw on my cowboy hat and took a pic for you (kind of - can't really see the hat).
