I dont get this - the PDF clearly mentions that the table is for ALL PENDING EMPLOYMENT-BASED 485s. So that means: -
1. It does not include any Family-based 485s.
2. This is not a count of just pre-adjudicated cases - this is a count of ALL PENDING CASES.
3. And since this is a count of ALL PENDING CASES, it also means that ALL DEPENDENT CASES are also included in this count - all DEPENDENTS HAVE TO FILE THEIR OWN 485s!
Sometimes I just wonder, if most people here on this board have an illness or over-analyzing everything. It is so simple if you just read what is stated and take it at the face!
The only thing I can tell is most of us are trying to search "light" from this "black and dark cloud". USCIS does not seem to be agree with what you are saying. Please have this trend chart and the worksheet in this thread together and then you will realize what we all are saying.:)

I am still trying to talk the old employer. Is it such a big deal that they cant even write a letter of future employment for me? i told them that they are not obligated to hire me but they are scared that they are trying to show that they are in losses and that by filing for a GC and promising a future employment they will not be able to show that they are suffering losses.
Why is it so difficult and complicated?
I am losing hope in it.
There is no harm in trying the new application in parallel. Assuming your employer is paying for it/you can afford the extra fees. Time is critical as CIR might mess things up if you delay too much.

I checked my status and it's been showing this for last 1 year..not sure what it means? Does it mean it has been pre-adjudicated? Please let me know if this is standard response once you submit RFE response. Thanks

I have a WAC number and petition approved in Feb 07. Stuck here for 1 month, 18 days and counting. I called DOS and didn't receive a positive response. Will try calling KCC tomorrow.

Congrats ans wishes to those who got their approvals.
Reading thru the forum I found there different status for approvals, some say they status was changed to 'Decision' with a msg new permanent resident status is registered and others say CPO email, I presume CPO as Card Production Ordered. I think both are different statuses, can some one please explain why some get 'Decision' and others get CPO directly.
Mine is still pending, just wanted to know as expecting the magic mail any time, since I did everything I could to expedite the approval.

FYI, there will be a manager from TCS/WIPRO/IBM side to whom all these L1s will be reporting... This shows your poor understanding of how an Indian company is being operated...

Your rocket science of 'report' to employer manager can be easily busted just by producing couple of emails from client managers assigning work to these L1 babies... true these companies would have a so called psuedo manager in their client locations just to fool USCIS BUT unfortunately ICE investigators are trained and informed about such fraudulant arrangements. Once we produce couple of emails (hope atleast few of us would be copied in those work assignment / weekly status emails) proving the direct work assignment from client these phony arrangements doesn't hold good. Second if we could prove that these so called managers doesn't even belong to our team (look for org charts/team list/email lists where these phony managers name would never be mentioned) just produce those evidence along with the above mentioned work assignments.. ICE investigators would take care of our 'rocket scientists'.
My dear 'new born' ...what ever you do ... every crime leaves its own trail ... how long you guys would continue this shady mode of operation.. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU VIOLAITNG THE RULES.... GREED JUST CORPORATE GREED, individual resources are just pawns in this fraud.

Guys do not feed the freeloaders by telling anything you are reading in the donor forum. Let these people help themselves by signing up for recurring contributions if they want helpful nformation about their EB2 PD movemement. We are still not meeting of our advocacy day amount. First of all thanks a lot for your reply and i further have some question if you could please help me understand that. the situations is that I have given my New I140 (EB2) to my lawyer and all he did was took a copy of my I485 receipt notice and said he will send that to USCIS. My PD on EB3 is Feb. 2003, how would I come to know if my EB3 PD was ported to EB2 by that I mean to how I would come to know if my I485 was ported to EB2 and still have PD of Feb 2003...

If I fill up another applicaiton for derivative, I have to fill up the same way as I filled for myself right? then I will go for this option.
No you can number the names. Put 1 - and write the details with 1 labeled near everything. Same with 2. I leave it to you. If you want to fill two forms to avoid confusion, please do so.

Just talked to a recruiter from a software giant.
She specifically wanted to know if I was on EAD and if yes, unfortunately they cannot hire EADs during the fourth quarter (now) due to hiring budget limitations that are typical during the fourth quarter.
Q: Why does budget come in to picture here?
A: Because policy requires the legal dept to be consulted for visa holders and EADs which means additional hiring costs plus time.
But she said once the fourth quarter passes, EAD hiring is not a problem.
Folks, we should not remain quiet about this. The regulations make it illegal for an employer to discriminate based on immigration status. We should politely and respectfully pursue the authorities regarding this matter.
I would encourage you to point out the USDOJ guidelines (posted earlier) to the "software giant" employer and also contact the OSC worker hotline.
Also, would it be wise for people to post name of the company who are known to have such policies? We got one - CapitalOne from earlier posts.

I just received notification that my approved 140 (which got approved way back in 2007) is now moved to USCIS. Has anyone seen this before?

Got my receipt today. Till friday i wasn't in there sytem, they told me to call after 1 month n today my company lawyers got the receipt. So guys hold on.... :-)
