Remebering My 2010!

At the end of each year I like to reflect back on all of the good times. It's not usually until I do that I realize how amazing of a time the last 12 months have always been; spent with my man, family, and friends!

Here are my most memorable moments on 2010, starting from January and ending now!

New Years Eve 2010!

Reaching 100 Followers!

A blogger's first milestone!

Trip to the Carribean!Reading Lauren Conrad's Series!

Getting Bangs!

Loving Kesha & Katy!

Trip to Seattle and road trip back!

New Car! Getting addicted to Jersey Shore!
Finding & Buying my Wedding Dress!

Halloween!

Girl's Nights!

And my favorite thing of all .. spending quiet nights in with my Ryan.

Looking back on my year was SO MUCH FUN =). It made me appreciate all of the moments I'd expreienced again, and even re-live them a little.

What are your goals for for 2011?

That's the beauty of the turning of the year, the cirlce of the earth's path, there is always a fresh start waiting for you on the horizon of December 31. Why not make it your year? Persue your dreams little by little, day by day, or go after them with all the force you can muster. Be yourself. Learn from your mistakes, and make them again if you need to. Enjoy your life, live it only for you; it belongs to you and you only. Fear not what people think of you; and stay true to yourself. Who is always there for you, without fail, when no one else is? YOURSELF, so be kind to your spirit! This is the best gift you can give those around you.

My Christmas

Hallo!
It's almost been a week, but I still wanted to share some of my pics from Christmas.
We spent Christmas eve and morning at my parents house, but the camera with those pics on it died last night so I couldn't upload them.
Here are my pics from Christmas Day/Night!
Me and my family headed to Ryan's parent's house, as we've been doing on most holidays in the last couple years =)

Do I look like them?

Ok, so I did end up making a video showing all of the things I got, but ended up not being too fond of it. Does that ever happen to any other video bloggers out there? But ya, it ended up on the cutting room floor and I didn't get pics of everything, so I'll just list everything off. I have a couple pics below too.

What I got:

-An SLR Camera (finally!) from Ryan!
(I'm loving it)
-Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner
-Chrome Crock pot
-giftcards for Winners & earls
-4 Ralph Lauren crystal glasses with 1 litre Belvedre Premium Vodka
-pijamas&slippers
-MAC holiday Brush Set
-necklace& 2 sets earrings (silver)
- ummmm, I think that's it?

Photobucket

Our Vacuum. Never thought I'd own a Dyson at this age! Love it =) Ours kept breaking so definitely needed this!

Photobucket

The holiday brush set. I love MAC brushes, and this duo fibre is my new fave. They came in this cute little bag you can wear across your body .. I actually think I would wear it!

Photobucket

Here they are with Sigma and random other Too Faced, BE, and Sephora brushes.
Do you like the holder? It's one of the crystal glasses my sis gave me. Don't worry, the others are in my cupboard waiting for some scotch =)

It was a wonderful Christmas, I couldn't have asked for more!
I know I must seem quite materialistic on this blog sometimes, but honestly, I could have had just as amazing a Christmas without any of the gifts, and just the time spent with family/friends.

I hope you enjoyed your Christmas with at least one important person in your life. If you were able to do that, you recieved the best gift possible.

Happy New Year!

Christmas Day Look

Photobucket Photobucket
This is how I looked on Christmas day! Did you have a good Christmas?
I'm going to do a video showing the goodies I got.
Have you done any boxing day shopping?
It's Ryan's birthday on boxing day, so I took him out for dinner, and then we just had champagne at home. Hope you are having a good holiday season =)

Resolutions...

It's almost the New Year, 2011! So what resolutions do you have for yourself this coming year? Are you just fulfilling one hope or dream on your list, or are you courageous and tackling all of them. One of my best friends, Rebecca, put it well. In her own words ..."In 2011 I am going to do the things that I am most scared of. The things that I have thought about for years, but never accomplished due to self doubt. Taking risks and re-investing in myself (my brain)." I admire Rebecca's courage and strength and have no doubt that she will accomplish what she sets out to do.

For myself, however, my resolutions tend to be smaller but just as important. But these little resolutions are sure to make a big impact in my life.
  • Take nothing for granted. (health included)
  • Spending more time outside (especially with my k-9 baby boy, Paisan)
  • Traveling more (even if it is to just get out of the city)
  • Spending more time with the people that mean the most to me.
  • Taking more time for myself and taking better care of me.
  • (This is the most important)...LEARNING TO SAY "NO"! (at least to some things :)
This last one I have struggled with my whole life and will probably continue to struggle with. I am a self professed "People Pleaser". It's one of the many reasons I love being a hairstylist...Instant gratification all day long, for both parties. While making people happy makes me happy...I also have to remember to take time for myself, because that makes me happy too! :) The idea is BALANCE!!!

I believe that 2011 is MY year, and I want to be present for all the moments it has to offer.  This coming year, I wish all of you an abundance of Love, Peace, Happiness and Balance!

Might get stuck at the Aunt's house for a few days but we have plenty of food and presents to keep our bellies full and happy!

What Would Audrey Do? My Weekend Ritual!

Photobucket

The ingredients of my Friday night ritual are:
*A Girly Book
*A Glass of Merlot
*LUSH
Have you guessed what the ritual is?
Why, a relaxing bath of course =)

Here are my most recent purchases being put towards my ritual.

What Would Audrey Do?

Photobucket

I prefer light, airy, non-fiction girly books to help me unwind after a long work week. Nothing too heavy .. I save that for the finance and law courses I'm currently sweating over during the week. As soon the tap starts running, I prefer to put my mind on auto pilot and enjoy a light and frivolous, (funny) read.

I bought this $20 paperback and Cinderella bookmark from Chapters last week, and it's fitting the bill nicely.

Topcis written about include Audrey's career, early life, STYLE, and romantic life.

The Second Ingredient: LUSH

LUSH is my fave bath product to use because they have bombs, melts, and bubble bars, and they make my skin super soft. Although lately it has been fun creating my own bath products and testing them out. My most recent Lush purchases:

Candy Cane Bubble Bar:

Snow Globe Lemon Grass Soap:
{Smells like, well, Lemons}
