Y dont we discuss how Kanimozhi's discontent couldn't play spoil sport for the new govt and how Azhagiri got cornered with chemicals and fertilizers (these 2 are not any interntaional fame for an american 'tunnel rat' to know abt them).
Above all I am here to get some information to bring a company which violates rules to authorities, nothing more nothing less and not here to do any name calling of mud slinging.

I already have called all the members of House Judiciary Committee. Some of them, I called second time last Friday.
On the Senate side, I just called Senator Harry Reid's Office to convey the message to Support " Visa Recapture Bill ".

Can someone please post the steps to open an SR and get an Infopass? I may have a biometrics appointment coming up soon. Can they help with application status questions?

Biometrics has no questions to answer. Just follow their instructions at the center.
To create SR,
Call the toll free number and select some options for you to reach a live representative.
Tell them that you are waiting for a very long time and needs update.
You need to have your receipt notice with you. And your wife too (matters only if you are married, just for the sake of it, do not bring in anyone else's wife...just kidding)
If your wife is not with you, they will create the SR for her. Hence suggested. Take down the name of Rep and the confirmation number.
That's it.

Once we have recapture we can start pushing USCIS to follow FIFO on PD. but to do that first we need numbers.

I am really confused. You have EB3 based 485. Are you working on EAD or on H1?

FYI...I heard from some of my friends that Vonage is good as long as you are its customer. Once you call CS and tell them you are leaving...they play all sorts of dirty tricks.
I have similar experience. I moved to sunrocket (which is now teleblend) from vonage. I pay half of what I used to pay vonage for same services/usage.
currently teleblend offers $50 unlimited india calling + ofcourse US+canada unlimited. However as now vonage has come up with $25 world plan, I am sure teleblend would come up with something similar soon... may be $20 world plan or so. As they always price it below vonage. Let's hope! competition is good for consumer.

As it has been 85 days since my 485 reached in NSC and updates, so I called the 800-375-3283 and transfered to IO, she was very polite and told that now they are taking 120 days to issue receipts. ( ware...waa...how fast service)
As CAA dude post a 800-246-8253 this is Custom #. (lol)
So they started to say now all we have to wait for another 30 days, there is no other way to get the receipt #, she said call once in a week if u are lucky, u may get ur receipt #,
yes sending fax, e-mails, create a query this make sence to invistigate the pending application.
Ok again ur count down starts against 120 days..........

Don't know what more drama has USCIS has up its sleeves.
You better contact your congressman and senator and get it sorted out....
It is absolutely nonsense that you are approved and then not...same can be true for many of us.....attach a copy of the visa bulletin in your mail....IO can;t just say visas retrogressed they need to show the proper paperwork ...

In the email that you send to the streamline address, in the subject we have to write it in the format "I-485/MM". THe document says we have to write the month for "MM" but does not say whether the month is priority date month or the month that your PD will be current. What did you write?

I would like a second opinion on the below comments from my attorney:
1. On the 131 the last page (having signatures) has this question:
On a separate sheet(s) of paper, please explain how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant
issuance of advance parole. Include copies of any documents you wish considered.
[Atorney's reply] not relevent to your application leave it blank.
Do you think it is not relevant if I am filing for Advanced payroll...
2. 325 PART 3 B and also EAD Question on 765- For my spouse, the A# - Should this be filled up from her last EAD card (vald from 2003-2005 when she was on L2) OR left blank.?

any comments ?? If my wife had an EAD even though not valid, should that not be mentioned?
3. I asked my attorney for copy of the final documents submitted to USCIS and I was told that they do not share the cover letter the attorney writes up. Other forms, I can print online (they have a database after fnal corrections).
Upon asking for the employment letter they submit, I was told that I should request from my employer?
Any comments??
4. If I get RFEs or I need to use AC21 in the future, what all do I need from the 485 application that would help me if I do not decide to use my law firm?
I do have the 140 approval copy (1 page) and details of the labor skills, title and salary and not the actual labor copy that was submitted for 140 approval.

But as a compromise, I have got a very simple and easy way out...I can tell you one thing, I do have a case which does not require any law change but just the interpretation of it.
Make sure that 5882 is successful. If it proceeds, I will back down. It is a shame that among 25K members raising 5K becomes a challenge.
This goes on to show there is no community. If there is not community then I have to look after my interest.
