Sweat Pants And Jersey Shore

I've been sick these last few days, at home alone with my kitties to help keep me entertained.
They kept me company while I laid on the couch with tea and kleenex.

I slept A LOT.

When I wasn't sleeping I watched the whole season one of Jersey Shore

I'm afraid to say I am addicted to this show. Highly addicted. It's so silly but SO GOOD. I'm so glad they are doing a season 3.

Ryan bought my a nice bouquet of happy yellow roses to wake up to on Wednesday morning. Perfect color for when you are sick.

At least it's Friday today.

Tonight I'm going to the GYM to get my workout groove back. I hate being sick because you can't work out. I tried doing an arm workout yesterday at home but was a little too run down for it.

On Saturday we are going to a food tasting at the company who is catering our wedding. Then I have to get my car appraised for hail damage that happened in July.

Then Saturday night I'm meeting up with my family for dinner and drinks.

Of course I will sleep in both Sat. and Sunday.

And watch the new Jersey Shore from last night!

Hope you have a good weekend!

UPDATE and Kitty Couture

UGHHH
I've become one of those bloggers.
One that doesn't update for days .. I'm just hoping the days don't start turning into weeks! (Don't worry, I would never let that happen)..
I've been buried in school work for the past few weeks, and I'm stressed with this summer course I've been taking .. not that the content is particularily hard, but in true Kimmy style, I waited til the last minute to get everything done, and now I have a week to learn the last two units, complete the project (worth 40%) and write the final. In some ways, it's good, because I always work the best under pressure (or as Ryan would say, with a fire under my ass), but I get sooo stressed and snappy until I'm driving home from the exam. Then I go get a giant bottle of wine =)
I think I see an extension purchase in my future ... Money really does talk, doesn't it?
***
Tonight after work we are going for a consultation with a wedding coordinator. I just want someone there on the day making sure everything runs smoothly, but other than that I'll be planning everything myself.
***

Well I couldn't just rant for this whole post, so I decided to leave you with something that will(hopefully) makes you smile:

Japanese fashion designer United Bamboo has created a ready-to-wear line of kitty clothes!
This line was created in November 2009, but post better late than never!

Yup, I'm a craaaazy cat lady ...... love me or hate me!

OPI "Dim Sum Plum", and a New Perfume

I really like this color, called "Dim Sum Plum" from OPI's Hong Kong collection. Ever notice how some colours go on much smoother and easier than other ones, even when they are from the same brand?

As you can see from the above pic, I bought another OPI polish, called "Gargantuan Green Grape". I was really disappointed with it! (That's why I didn't upload pics of my nails painted with the color). From the bottle, I expected it to be a lovely minty green, but it went on soooo lumpy and looked more pukey than minty. Ewww. Oh well. =)

I LOVE this Coconut Melon Creme by OPI. It smells sooo good, and is so rich. It was only $7, too.

Have you smelled this? I love it so much. It's such a nice fruity scent.

Got it from Shoppers the other day too.

And here are some pics of my two favorite boys, just for fun. Ryan and Tibbs, my friendly little kitty. He loves Ryan waaayy more than me and always cuddles with him whenever Ryan is laying down.

Yesterday was such a lazy day for me. All I did was come home, eat, watch The Bachelorette, watch True Beauty, and then fall asleep. It was nice though, because I'm so rested today. Definitely have to hit the gym tonight though.

Are any of you watching The Bachelorette this season? I wasn't too keen on Ally from last season, but I really like the choices she makes on this season. She has a great personality, too.

Thanks for reading!

Famous Cat Lovers Throughout History:

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) Physicist Fond of animals

Einstein kept a tomcat named Tiger who tended to get depressed whenever it rained. One acquaintance recalled him saying to the melancholy cat: "I know what's wrong, dear fellow, but I don't know how to turn it off." Einstein was also quoted as saying, "A man has to work so hard so that something of his personality stays alive. A tomcat has it so easy, he has only to spray and his presence is there for years on rainy days."

Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) Author (works include For Whom the Bell Tolls, Old Man)

Hemingway shared his Key West home with more than 30 cats. The story goes that Hemingway made the acquaintance of a sea captain who owned an unusual six-toed tomcat. Upon his departure from Key West, the captain presented the cat to Hemingway. Today many of the numerous cats that inhabit the grounds still possess the unusual six toes. Hemingway once said, "A cat has absolute emotional honesty; human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not."

John Lennon (1940-1980) Singer

Queen Victoria (1819-1901) Queen of England

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) Author (works include Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickelby, David Copperfield, A Christmas Carol)

Charles' cat, Willamena, produced a litter of kittens in his study. Dickens was determined not to keep the kittens, but he fell in love with one female kitten who was known as "Master's Cat". She kept him company in his study as he wrote, and when she wanted his attention she was known to snuff out his reading candle. (xmission)

Hello Kitty

My chubby, grumpy, BB Cat =)

She's often grumpy (not like my other one). If you pet her too long, she'll snap at your fingers, but I love the way she chirps like a bird and her obsession with drinking water from a glass.

She climbs up on my bed to cuddle when she thinks I'm asleep and won't know she's been there.
Have any animals yourself?

Merry Christmas Eve!

WOW it's been awhile since I've posted, so SORRY for that.
I've had this whole week off and have been running around Christmas shopping, and getting all of my gifts ready for people =)
I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Day! Are you excited?! I get to open one of my gifts from Ryan today, because we'll be at our parents' different houses tonight. Tomorrow we'll meet back up again.
We ended up not getting a tree this year. We were going to, but only really had time to get it the week before Christmas; so we wondered what the point would be. We won't be here on Christmas eve or day anyways.... These are some of our presents to eachother.

We tried getting BB into the Christmas spirit with a santa hat, but mostly she just walked around like this ..Speaking of CATS, we are getting another KITTEN!! I decided to get that for Ryan as a Christmas gift. We won't get to take him home until the New Year as he's only about 8 weeks old, but we drove out to see them last night and decided on one!! I'm so excited to finally have a friend for BB =)
I've also been busy the last couple days painting this bird house as a gift for Ryan's parents. Here it is almost done, I just need to paint the perch and prime it so they can keep it outside. What do you think?
Well, I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Christmas. Thanks to my couple new followers, I'll be sure to check out your blogs as soon as I can!!

Christmas Parties and Treats.

Why, Hello =)
Here's what I've been up to the last few days ...
On Friday after work I went to Pet Smart and baught a little Santa Hat for my kitty. It was only five bucks so I couldn't really argue. When I got home and put it on her, it fell off immediately. :( It was too big for her little head. I think it was made just for a dog. Oh well, it was worth a try...
Saturday was Ryan's (my fiancee) work Christmas party in Banff
Had to take a pic while driving up there =)Such a pretty town.At the party

On Sunday we headed back to Calgary and celebrated my sister's birthday at my parent's house. The big 3-0.

Monday was a very good day for me, present-wise=)

Ryan gave me these beautiful flowers at work. I also got some really nice Christmas cards from co-workers, some Purdy's chocolates, and some really nice body shop soaps from my boss.

So far today (Tuesday) I've gotten another box of chocolates from Bernard Callibout. I love the weeks leading up to Christmas =)

Now it's time for me to catch up on my blog reading list, and see the new COOL people who decided to follow me =)
