My Halloween Snow White Make-Up Look!

Once upon a time as a queen sits sewing at her window, she pricks her finger on her needle and three drops of blood fall on the snow that had fallen on her ebony window frame. As she looks at the blood on the snow, she says to herself, "Oh, how I wish that I had a daughter that had

Skin white as snow,
Lips red as a rose,
Hair black as ebony"...

With my fair skin and dark hair, I've been destined to be a Halloween Snow White my whole life.

I kept the rose red color the main theme throughout my Snow White look. Red nails and red lips to match the red of my costume.

Revlon Superlustrous lipstick in Scarlet, and Revlon Top Speed Nail polish in Cherry.

You may have noticed that my two toned ombre hair was gone. After all, I couldn't have dark blond ends if I wanted to channel Miss White properly.
Since I decided on Snow White as a costume over a month ago, I went through many ideas of how I would do my hair.
First I bought black spray. I thought it would work perfectly! Wrong. It just saturated my hair, and the color would rub off when I tried to style it.
Next I bought a black wig, but it was WAY too gothic for Snow White .. I looked like a witch.
Finally, while trolling the hair isles of Shoppers Drug Mart, I came across this:

Fanciful Temporary Hair Color in jo 13: Chocolate Kiss.

I was super happy with this stuff; it's so easy to use. After washing and towel drying my hair, I simply applied it and styled. And it shampoos right out. Easy!

So while my hair wasn't quite "black as ebony", it was blond free, and all over dark.

I loved being Snow White for Halloween this year, I had a lot of fun creating the look and channeling the Fairy Tale Princess for the night.
