Finally I am greened.
For me here is the status.
Card/ Document Production
On August 18, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
For my wife, status is like this.
Decision
On August 18, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
Did anybody get the above status? What does not it mean?

Get over with it bunch of whiny losers. Someone can can and is willing to do the job cheaper than you.
Think from your client's perspective:
1. Why should he pay you more if he can get someone for cheaper price?
2. Are you willing to do the same job for the salary that is offered by TCS, WIPRO?
3. If you screw up , who is responsible? What can you do to mitigate damage? TCS/WIPRO can replace the whole team at free of cost to make project successful.
4. YOU guys want to leave companies at will but the companies should not replace you at will?
If you were bringing in value to the client that they cant get from TCS/WIPRO then you will have the job. Get some more skills, be best in the business and be smart. Know what it takes for long term success. You have to be on your toes all the time.
STOP whining, you are just wasting time. All the best!

I am planning to take up a EB3 labor substitution case, and I have a few questions.
With the I140 premium processing being eliminated from today, and the current I140 processing time taking 9 months my question to you all is:
a. Suppose I apply for my I140, I485, AP today (say May 18th 2007), will I be eligible to get an EAD in the next 90 days, though my I140 could still be pending.
b. Will the time for AC21 portability start from the day I applied for I485 or from the day the I140 will get approved.
c. Suppose me and spouse get the EAD (despite I140 pending), and spouse converts from H4 to EAD while I stay on H1-B, what happens to the spouse status in case the I140 gets denied.
d. What is the possibility of the EB2 VISA dates moving further.
Appreciate your help in understanding the system correctly.

I had the same issue...
Here is the short version of how it unfolded. I've seen some quick responses from USCIS.
9/15/2010 - USCIS email indicating that cards mailed for both me and spouse
9/16/2010 - Spouse received card
9/21/2010 - Got email (LUD) that my card returned undelivered.
9/22/2010 - Called customer service updated the address
9/23/2010 - Got my card in mail (wrapped in an usps priority envelope) with tracking number
I was pleasantly surprised with the fastness of USCIS.

My attorney's office contacted USCIS and was told that USCIS has current address on system :cool: They told that since the case is waiting for RFE it must have happend by mistake :confused:

I will definitely send all these letters today or tomorrow. But why are we not sending to all the service centers? Why only Texas? There are many cases at Vermont, California service centers which were never transferred to Texas. Would it not be appropriate to include these service centers in this campaign?

what is the meaning of staff augmentation case? He work at client place and client is administered project.The s/w tool is copyright by client.The reason for asking him to come back is that prior to this company he worked for another company for two years. He left his old company before 5 year. when he joined his current company he has provided all the document mentioned in checklist such as offer letter, exp and releiving letter and last two month pay stub and they did BG for same document.During 5 years career he worked for diff client and everytime they did BG for him before putting him in project and there was no problem happen in his BG. recently his current employer find something wrong about his prior company and they asked him to provide more evidance for prior company.now he don't have any contact of his prior employer and he does not have any more evidnace for showing their company.
Because of this reason they are asking him to come back home country from last two week.He told his company that he tryed to connect his prior employer but he can not make out and he don't have anything more to show the company.
Please suggest what he can do in this situation.
If anyone come across in this situation then please reply to my question.

The way I look at your story is that you want to get back at your company in some way. You were employed as L1 by your company all this while and you did not care about fraud at that time ? You were enjoying the benefits so you did not care. Now since your company is going to send you back to India anyways, you want to do everything possible to get them in trouble.
I dont support fraud in any way and I do think such companies should be punished. But you dont have my sympathy either since you think fraud is ok as long as you are benefitting from it.

Yes this is true. last year i my wife's EAD was dealyed after 90 days so i walked into a USCICS centre and they said they no more issue INTERIM EAD's.

I received my GC by snail mail. Here are the chronological events--
08/02 (Monday)- PD became current, called to open SR:confused:
08/03 (Tuesday)-CPO e-mail:)
08/10 (Tuesday)- Welcome notice received by snail mail :rolleyes:
08/13 (Friday)- GC received by snail mail :D
The card looks like a credit card, greenish in color (hey, after all it is GC). It does not smell or taste good :D I looked at the card for almost an hour before going to bed. :D
As a 'masterji' one advice to all: If possible, try to complete a graduate degree (M.S., MBA, Ph.D.) from US. Besides self satisfaction, it REALLY helps professionally.

Why do we need 325A?- i thought this was for people in illegal status. Our son entered the US on valid H4 visa. Also do we need to request in application to attach the file to mother or anything like that. I will give the USCIS a call and share that information here if I find anything more.
