My wife has ITIN till last year and we filed jointly. This year she has a social security number and we filed using social security number. Return was rejected by IRS saying that my wife's last year's AGI is wrong. Has anyone run into this ? What was the resolution ?

What if I fall on category EB-3 and not from India and China. Can my employer still file it ? This is because the minimum requirement for this job is a Bachelors Degree even though I do have a masters degree.
Welcome to my world - EB3 ROW. You may file your I-140 now and wait until your priority date becomes current to file I-485. But EB3 ROW is currently retrogressed and unless a legislation is passed to bring relief, you may not be able to file I-485 until about 4 years from today.
Believe me you are not alone. My employers filed in EB3 for me even though I have a Bachelor plus 20 years of IT experience.
Another option is to find another employer and job that meets EB2 requirements. I am seriously considering that in my case.

Actually it is 3 seperate images all of which are .png images with transparency, all which use A/S. You are right though, they are small images and it is a small flash movie. I guess with something bigger it wouldn't be a good idea.

You have to use I-824 if you change the consulate, if it is a consular case. If your I-94 is extended within america, there is no need. However because of PIMS, it is better to initiate a I-824 and get confirmation before proceeding for stamping. It is better to check your lawyer to get the right legal advise.

I had my FP done at San Jose ASC and It took us around 15 min for the entire process of filling the forms,waiting to be called for FP and doing the actual FP.
The lady asked me to sign on an electronic pad(some people reported that they were asked to write their full name and sign at the bottom) which I did and she gave us some feedback forms to fill out and drop in the suggestion box.
It was easy for me to locate the ASC because i used to commute by Charcot drive to take 87 on my way back home from my old office :)
A friend of mine went without the receipt. Only his wife had the receipt. They printed his receipt right there... Even tho his appnt was a week later they did his FP the same day... he had no problems with the security guard... I guess its just ur luck!

I am from India and lived in Brussels, Belgium between 2000-2002 before being transferred by my Indian IT company to work in US on H1. Here are some facts on Brussels:
1. Quality of Life: Good place to live, friendly people, close to major cities like Paris, Amsterdam and London.

Apartment Rent: 900-1000 Euros per month

Last month I filed using E-file system and got the AP within a month, I am very happy with E-file system. I used for both EAD and AP. Some people said we need to give fingerprints, if we file using e-file. But I didn't receive finger print notice.
Below are the answers for your questions
1) AP is a permission to travel, if you are not planning to travel plans need not renew. But it's good idea to renew, for emergency purpose. You need not worry about expiry date, it's not a Visa. EAD also same, I applied after my first EAD expired and got the new EAD.
2) I am not sure about your second question, but if you use e-file,system will take care for u.
3) You need not enter Attorney's name, you need to enter your name in self filing section. All the future communication including approval and receipt will come to you.

The reason for these kinds of unreasonable RFEs is simple - Improving the US economy; one RFE at a time.
In my understanding there is no rule or guidelines regarding usage of same photos more than once. The only restriction is that the photo should not be more than 6 months old. If I remember correctly, I have used the same photos for various purposes like Visa, EAD, AP etc.
When my AP came up for renewal my attorney asked to get new set of photos.
In addition my cousin's EAD application got RFE'ed to get new set of photos even though the photos were recent. The reason given was that they had used same photos to renew their visa few months back (less than 6 months).
Is USCIS coming up some new rule about photos being 'unused' ?? The guidelines say that photos should be recent (taken in last 6 months). However nowhere I do I see that the photos should be 'unused' previously ?
Anyone else had same experience ?
